Rory started life in the UK at Edinburgh back in 2001 after winning several honours at youth level in South Australia. He won the Premier League with the Monarchs in 2003 before joining Coventry in 2005 in the Elite League for arguably the most successful period of his career. He won three Elite League titles, two Knockout Cup titles and the Craven Shield with the Bees before returning to joining Belle Vue in 2011. During his spell with the Aces he was crowned Elite League Riders’ champion. Rory then became a fixture at King’s Lynn from 2013-16 and once again won the Elite League Riders’ title in 2013. Rory spent one season at Foxhall in 2008 before joining the Witches in 2017 again. He will double up with Wolverhampton in the Premiership in 2018. The four-time South Australia State champion has ridden in 7 meetings for Australia at the Speedway World Cup scoring 36 points and picking up a bronze medal.
