Biography
The 2017 world champion returned to British Speedway with the Witches in 2022 where he played a key role in helping the club win the Premiership Pairs and in 2023 he helped the club lift the Knockout Cup. His last season in the UK prior to his stint in Suffolk saw him lift the Premiership title with Swindon in 2019. The Australian started his career in Britain in 2005 with the Isle of Wight and has added a list of club and individual honours to his name during his time on these shores including multiple league titles with different clubs. The 2015 Australian champion reached the top of the world in 2017 as he won the Grand Prix Series and he remains one of the best riders in the world, finishing eighth in last year’s series. Doyle will once again race in the Grand Prix in 2024 and will represent GKM Grudziądz in the Polish Ekstraliga and will ride in the Danish Speedway League.
