Biography
Our club photographer is Stephen Waller. Steve has been shooting at Foxhall since 1995 and following the Witches since he was a young lad. It’s his photos you see in the programme each week, on this website and in the EADT and Ipswich Star newspapers, as well as in the Speedway Star magazine. He is also the Witches scribe for the Speedway Star, writing match reports on meetings raced at Foxhall. In 1998, the Witches treble winning year, Steve had the pleasure of capturing (on film in those days) every meeting raced at home and on their travels. The year culminated in a reception with Mayor Hamil Clarke, at the Town Hall in Ipswich, where Steve was again in attendance. Images from that season along side many others featured in his book ‘A Decade in Pictures’, published in 2008.
Away from speedway Steve is a full time professional photographer, creating images for, predominantly the business community. His impressive client list includes many well known local and national companies. He also shoots other sports and is an accredited football league licence holder, covering all Ipswich Town matches at Portman Road, for the EADT and Ipswich Star, with the national press also picking up his images.
