Henry Chard will leave his role as Ipswich ‘Tru7 Group’ Witches press officer after 11 years with the club.
“I want to thank Chris Louis for the opportunity to be a small part of the club I have supported my whole life. This was supposed to be helping out with a bit of social media here and there whilst I was freelancing 11 years ago but ended up being much more! With Chris going, the time is right for me to hand over the media reigns too.
“Since I started, I’ve tried to make our media output professional whilst keeping our own identity, which I have always felt strongly about. I am Ipswich through and through and always wanted our social media accounts to reflect the fanbase as much as possible, whether it be highs or lows or having a bit of fun! I’ve tried to interact and answer as many of you as possible over the years good or bad, we’ve built great connections with local businesses and media and I hope the fans have felt part of it all, that has always been my aim, it will always be your club.
“As the cliché goes, I have met some friends for life and made some unforgettable memories but I’m looking forward to being back on the terraces again cheering on the team without a phone glued to my hand the whole meeting doing updates and videos! Uppa Witches!”
Everyone at Foxhall would like to thank Henry for his service to the club.
