Ipswich Tru7 Group Witches fans can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club’s league and cup double on Friday, September 18.
Representatives of the club’s league title winning team of 1975 and Witches’ 1976 league and cup double winners will be in attendance for a special event at Kesgrave Community Centre (IP5 1JF) from 7.30pm.
Most Ipswich riders from these title winning teams will be in attendance to share their stories of these two seasons. Audience participation will be welcomed and encouraged.
There will be a display of period bikes, leathers and race jackets organised by Pete Rout, along with memorabilia stalls and current Witches merchandise for sale, plus a rolling display of photographs from the title-winning seasons. There will also be a bar and plenty of on-site parking.
Tickets cost £5, payable at the door on the night. With capacity limited to 200 people, fans are advised to arrive early.
