The dates for Ipswich’s Premiership Knockout Cup Final showdown with Leicester have been confirmed, with the Tru7 Group Witches staging the first leg on Monday, July 27 at 7.30pm.
The Witches raced to a 100-percent record in the competition’s Southern Section, winning all four matches home and away against King’s Lynn and Northampton to set up their two-legged clash with the Lions.
The 2025 Rowe Motor Oil Premiership champions race the opening leg at Foxhall, with tickets already available HERE now, while Leicester stages the decider on Thursday, July 30.
Ipswich chairman Richard Coleman hopes Witches fans will turn out in force on the opening week of the school summer holidays as his side bids to win the Premiership Knockout Cup for the first time since 2023.
He said: “It has been a fantastic start to the season for the team and it would be an incredible moment if we can win the first piece of Premiership silverware of 2026.
“We appreciate that the meeting is not taking place on a Thursday night, with the Lions handed the second leg, but we hope our fans can pack Foxhall Stadium on a Monday night and create a great atmosphere as we bid to build up a strong aggregate lead to take to Leicester.
“It’s hugely exciting to be preparing for the Premiership Knockout Cup Final just months after Mayfield completed its takeover of the club. But for now, our focus returns to our league campaign and our home meeting with the Belle Vue Aces next Thursday evening.”
