The Tru7 Group Witches are offering Ipswich programme collectors free admission to Thursday’s 75th anniversary showdown with Leicester – if they have any original Ipswich Speedway programme from 1951.
Thursday’s programme will feature a cover inspired by the first-ever Ipswich Speedway programme for the club’s opening match against Yarmouth on May 14, 1951.
Fans who have the original programme, or any Ipswich programme from the 1951 season, and are willing to donate it to the Witches archive can enjoy free admission to Thursday’s Rowe Motor Oil Premiership clash with Leicester as a thank you. Photocopies and covers will not be accepted.
For fans who don’t have a 1951 Ipswich programme and wish to pick up a piece of Witches memorabilia, buy your copy of the 75th anniversary programme at Foxhall on Thursday evening, where special merchandise to mark the occasion will also be available for purchase.
