Ipswich No.1 Tom Brennan roared back into action in fine style, topping the podium in Nicolai Klindt’s Testimonial at King’s Lynn on Sunday.
Brennan faced a race against time to be fit for 2026 after suffering a broken left tibia and fibula in practice for the World Speedway Invitational in California on October 25.
It’s a race he appears to have won after he racked up 10 points from four outings at the Adrian Flux Arena, beating Speedway GP star and former Witches top gun Jason Doyle in his opening ride.
The four-team tournament saw Brennan’s Poole side tie with Wolverhampton on 26 points for first place.
Brennan was awarded top spot in the individual stakes after tying on 10 points with Ryan Douglas, who was representing Wolves. With rain preventing the final from taking place, the Brit was handed victory on countback.
