The Ipswich ‘Tru7 Group’ Witches’ ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixture away at Sheffield on Wednesday 3rd September has been postponed.

Heavy showers arrived late in the afternoon at the track, leaving the club with no other option but to postpone the meeting just after 5pm.

Team manager Ritchie Hawkins had the following to say.

“It was disappointing the postponement at Sheffield, that is two trips, and the weather has beaten us both times. Unfortunately, it is one of those things, it is worse for the Sheffield promotion as they will have lost money each time it has been called off. It is disappointing for the riders who travelled up and sorry to the fans but the weather today has been torrential rain, and they had a big storm so nothing can be done about that. It is one of those things we have to deal with in our sport.”
