Following a BSPA meeting on Tuesday morning, the decision has been taken to delay the start of the 2020 season until 15th April due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
On Monday the government advised to stop non-essential contact with others, stop all unnecessary travel and to avoid social venues in a bid to help prevent the spread of the virus.
This suspension will be reviewed on 15th April and the situation will be monitored by the British Speedway Promoters’ Association and Speedway Control Bureau on a daily basis between now and then.
