The 2025 season will end at Foxhall on Thursday 16th October with Tiger’s Academy Open.
John Louis was proud of riding for his hometown team, packed with local talent and always played an active role in trying to develop local and international riders and in this meeting the best of the British youth scene will be on show and doing battle for individual and pairs honours.
There will be 20 heats of qualifying action with the top two going directly into the final. The next four highest scorers will race in a semi-final with the top two from that race progressing to the final.
There will be two groups of riders, Group A riders and Group B riders and riders from Group A will be ‘paired’ with Group B riders so that a senior rider can help and advise them during the meeting. The draw for this will take place ahead of the event.
Riders will race as individuals during the qualifying heats, semi-final and final but the top two scoring ‘pairs’ will then contest the Tiger’s Pairs Final, which will use a 4-3-2-0 scoring format.
The hugely successful Great Britain Speedway Team will be represented to make a presentation to the riders ahead of the event with help and advice on their career progression.
Promoter Chris Louis is pleased to be able to put his father’s name to the event and believes it will be an invaluable opportunity for the youngsters.
“The chance to be hands on in the pits with experienced riders is a golden opportunity and something that I am sure they will all gain from. It’s great to be able to put dad’s name to something so worthwhile and that I know he would whole heartedly support, I can’t wait. I know that he would raise a smile when the youngster’s roll out and do battle on the night.”
The full line-up is as follows:
Group A: Cooper Rushen, Jody Scott, William Cairns, Ace Pijper, Ben Trigger, Vinnie Foord, Ashton Vale, Max Perry
Group B: Seth Norman, Ryan Ingram, Stene Pijper, Jordy Loftus, Harry Fletcher, Ollie Binns, Senna Summers, Jack Shimelt
