The ‘Tru Plant’ Witches will be at the Ipswich Town Open Day on Thursday at Portman Road from 9.15am.
The club have been regulars at the event since the partnership began between the two sports teams and are looking forward to another fantastic day this year with the event being free to attend. Captain Danny King and Australian duo Cameron Heeps and Jake Allen will be at the Witches stand signing autographs before facing Wolverhampton at Foxhall that evening. There will be a ‘pit bay’ set up for fans to get a closer look at a speedway bike and the equipment involved in the sport.
We will also be running a competition throughout the day with the winning prize of two tickets to a league fixture of your choice and the chance to meet the team. All you have to do to enter is take a photo or selfie if you visit the Ipswich Speedway stand at the ITFC Open Day and share it on Twitter or Instagram tagging us and using the hashtag #TruPlantWitches in your post. Our username on Twitter is @ipswichspeedway whilst on Instagram we are ipswichwitches. A winner will be selected at random on Friday 26th July at 5pm.
We look forward to seeing many of you on Thursday and don’t be shy, come and say hello to us and make sure you take plenty of photos to enter our competition!
